The Day Prior to your Rhinoplasty SurgeryThis is your last day to prepare for your surgery. Make sure you’ve tied up all loose ends. Make sure you have supplies to reduce swelling after your procedure: ice packs, frozen bags of vegetables, etc. You may also wish to consider taking Arnica – an herbal supplement which helps to reduce swelling and bruising. Stock up with foods which are easy to ingest and digest: soup, juice, popsicles, and so on.
Wash your face thoroughly before bed the night prior to surgery. Ideally you should use an antibacterial cleanser to protect your facial skin from any possible infections.
Refrain from eating after midnight to prevent nausea after your surgical procedure and try to get a good night’s sleep.
